High efficiency

The metal composites are separated into their component parts in the QZ. This is done by accelerating and bouncing the material around in the boiler of the Querstromzerspaner. The material then goes through an overband magnet that draws out the ferromagnetic iron.

The non-ferrous fraction such as e.g. copper and aluminium is separated in a further separation phase. A residual fraction that consists primarily of plastics remains.

Different solutions are conceivable depending on the input material.
