Pure output fractions with the QZ

The QZ technology can be fed with a wide range of input material: Stainless steel swarf, metal separator fractions from sorting systems, aluminium profiles, aluminium composites, aluminium swarf, tin plate packaging with foreign objects attached to it, plastic-steel-aluminium mixtures, car engines, etc.

The treatment processes generates scrap of high purity that can be used in a steel plant and thus be sold. The sorting technology downstream of the Querstromzerspaner separates the feed material into the following sorting fractions: Fe material, Fe/Cu composites, aluminium and plastics.

Through the large number of settings on the cross-flow shredder, e.g. running time, opening of the outlet valve, rotational speed of the acceleration tools, etc. the size, form and purity of the output material can be individually determined.
