Biogas systems – foot on the gas with the Querstromzerspaner (QZ)
An increasing level of importance is being given to the use of biomass against the background of scarcer fossil reserves, climate protection obligations, security of supply and a necessary diversification in the area of energy supply.
Specifically planted energy crops, unused crops or parts of crops, liquid manure, manure as well as waste materials containing biomass, such as biowaste or food leftovers, are suitable for the production of biogas.
MeWa’s innovative Querstromzerspaner processes the input into a homogenous substrate. This results in a much higher gas yield in the fermenter.
The input is frequently a mixture of organic substances and foreign matter such as metals or plastics. The QZ separates the different fractions from one another and guarantees a perfect and highly usable output.
